The church hosts an expanding all year holiday and after-school Playscheme, Three sets of traditional oak screens were fitted with decorative panels to serve a new dual purpose as i) traditional worship furniture during Services, and ii) moveable screens to create new play areas in the church during the week. Playscheme children and staff helped design the panels, and chose a Seasons theme to do so.

Children explored their own experiences of the Seasons in a series of workshops. Inspired by looking at mediaeval seasonal calendar designs (images from León cathedral, north western Spain), they were able to link their work with the long-held European tradition of seasonal calendar illustration found in British and in European churches.

In addition, each of the 6 panels is inscribed with texts from The Benedicite (canticle, ca 12th century) on a background of vine foliage surrounded by the children's seasonal images in roundel form.
